Earl Grey with a bit of milk is my favourite, but I'll settle for almost any black tea.
There's a great place to buy tea in Southcentre right by the food court (just around the corner). Loads of different kinds.
Speaking for myself though, as much as I like tea, I don't think I could ever give up coffee.

I quit coffee for the most part because it was really starting to mess me up. It wasnt that I needed coffee or even that early morning pick me up, but it became kind of a habit at work and I loved the taste of it.
I'm the guy that gets tims triple triples, I like sweet coffee, it was my favorite non-alcoholic drink, but the problem was that it was really screwing with my body, I'd drink like 6 to 8 cups of coffee a day, just because it tastes good and its like a drug I could consume at work.
Throw in an irregular heartbeat from massive, massive caffeine consumption and you'll find incentive to quit though. I quit completely for over a year and now I only drink a cup here and there or during emergencies like last weekend.

I've never been a coffee drinker - all I can manage is a super sweet latte once a month or so. But I've always been a tea drinker. I drink virtually all loose teas - black, green, white, rooibos, herbal, fruit - you name it. We buy some online at Teavana some here in Calgary at Totalitea or Oolong, sometimes at Steeps.
My favourite green tea right now is Mandarin Orange Green. Green tea with a hint of orange. It's delish. My ultimate fave tea is Russian Earl Grey by Metropolitan Tea Company. It's a citrusy Earl Grey - really really nice.
Oh, on a side note, I used to drink black tea with sugar, but about six years ago I cut sugar out of my diet and therefore the sugar had to go from my tea - and I've never gone back to sweetened tea.

I've never been a coffee drinker but I used to always drink tea with sugar and my lattes with a flavour shot. But as I get older I can't handle those things sweetened. If I get a latte from a chain like Starbucks or Second Cup, I'll get it half sweet because I need to mask the taste of their mediocre beans.

It's surprising how addictive coffee is. I'm back to normal now, with one cup in the morning, but there was a time when I consumed ridiculous amounts of coffee. The height of my addiction was in Italy where the culture is to stop for a cafe anytime you ran into someone you knew. So cheap, so quick (as it's just a shot of espresso) and unbelievably addictive. That shot of tar every hour was like friggin heroin. I'd hang around the train station all day filling hostels and going for cafe with the other station rats. Even if I didn't see a friend I'd still go for a shot every hour or so. I swear I'd get little fits like I needed a smoke but for cafe. Even being out and about drinking would go beer - beer - cafe.
At first I thought it was pretty funny how flaming it looked for full grown men to drink out of little girl teacups but it didn't take long before I was converted.

I don't think I could give up coffee... I love it too much! But I do limit myself to only one or two cups a day.
I like tea, but it just doesn't pack the same kind of punch for me as coffee does. It just always tastes a little blah... or weak.

There is also a nice shop in Glenmore Landing SW Calgary, and a great place called the Tea and Time Emporium (they sell tea and timepieces) in Okotoks, way out east on Elizabeth Street. They used to be the tea shop in Glenmore Landing, but apparently that shoppiing center had management that was very hard to deal with. So they bought a little house in Okotoks, moved there, and now they are in charge of their own administration.
http://teaandtime.com/
There is a place on their site you can click to see their selections. They have around 100 different teas, including their Okotokian, their own blend of spiced tea.

For tea lovers there is a great tea place in the Mount Royal area of 17th called Steeps. You smell all the teas they have in their jars, pick one, and they steep you as much as you want. You can also buy it to take home. The have like 40 varieties or something.
I definitely prefer tea to coffee, but I don't drink much of either to tell you the truth. If I do drink coffee I usually drink the darker more bitter stuff, though I do like a Tims english toffee pile of fakeness sometimes.
I stay away from coffee mostly because of the caffiene. Bad for my heart.

Tea contains quite a bit of caffeine too.

It does, but for some reason, the body takes much longer to ingest it. Hence, you don't get that kick from tea like you do from coffee.
Many who get heart palpitations from drinking a lot of coffee, don't experience those problems when drinking tea.

The caffeine in tea is significantly lower than coffee. Black has the most (about 20% the caffeine of coffee) , then oolong (15%), then green (5-10%) . White has very small amounts of caffeine. Rooibos, herbals and fruit teas have no caffeine in them.

Fun fact: all of those come from the same plant.
I'm a pretty big tea drinker. What I like about it is that it does have some caffeine, but it takes a longer time to release it throughout the day, so you dont get that jolt that coffee gives you. This can be a good or bad thing depending on how you like it, but personally coffee makes me jumpy which i hate.
I've found that green-tea definitely grows on you. The more you drink it, the more you like it.

I hate that feeling when you've had too much coffee. It feels like your heart is going to explode.

For me it is easy, I despise hot coffee. I love it iced, but can't stand it hot.
Thus, tea is my hot drink of choice. Green and Chai.

All this green tea stuff or herbal tea or chai that is popularized is sort of like "fake Chinese food" to Asian people. And we aren't talking tea bags but actual tea leaves prepared differently or cut differently, etc.
The varieties of actual tea that you can get is astounding. Most people don't realize that if you goto a Chinese restaurant there are like 5-10 different types of tea that can be ordered with your food. It's the same for casual drinking.
Personally I prefer some Japanese "Genmai-Cha" flaked green tea with toasted rice. Since it's unbagged, you can put this in your teapot or even your coffee maker (instead of coffee grounds in the filter). Has a wonderful steeped tea flavor with a wheaty/barley/hoppy sweet flavor to it.
At work, I just put jasmine or chrysanthenum tea leaves in the single cup coffee maker and wash out the plastic filter afterwards.
My personal favorite tea:

I hate tea of any kind for some reason. I was a 12 cup of coffee a day kinda guy, I gave that up about 2 months ago and became a 12 glasses of water a day kind guy. I maybe have a can of pop once a month as a reward.
Its funny, I can kick those things pretty easy, but kicking smoking is something I haven't been able to do.

Tea is easier to make then coffee. Therefore I drink tea.
Tazo has a great Wild Orange tea that you can get at Starbucks. However, I just laugh at the people who are buying the 5$ tea "latte's" that the evil empire sells now. A month before they launched them, you could get tea with steamed milk for about 2.25$ (london fog). They put vanilla in it and suddenly it's 4.65$ or something ridiculous.
