I never lock my car doors. I think my extension cord is worth more than my car.

I'm telling you this. One of these days we will be monitored 24/7 with tracking device implants and then no one will be stealing anyone's extension cords.

So, because I make my point and respond to posts regarding it I'm treating people like garbage because some people misinterpret it? Seriously? I've not demeaned people nor insulted them. I've tried to keep my posts short and concise but some people take that as being blunt or forceful.

Wow, if you think that is treating people like garbage then I'd like specific examples of what you're talking about because I've actually behaved quite civilized.

Trust me, I could treat people like garbage but I do not.

No need to justify yourself my friend.

I think its hard to move anywhere to avoid crime. On Monday night thieves tried to steal my F-350. Punched in the lock then jammed a screw driver into the ignition. For some reason or other they gave up, but my truck won't start and I have to wait a week or more to get it fixed.

I grew up in a rural area 40 miles from the closest town. We had our car stolen and then torched when I was a kid. My dad is living on an acreage near Bears Paw. They get broke into regularly. I know a lot of the farmers around Red Deer. They get broke into regularly as well. Most of them have alarms on their houses and shops. Some have given up on keeping gas on the farm since thieves are constantly trying to steal it. If your moving to an acreage anywhere near an urban center Jolinar, be prepared for the crime wave your about to experience.

A friend told me the other day that he had visitors from Australia that were impressed at how a large percentage of Canadians have electric cars.

He was even asked how far they can go after being plugged in over night.

I feel your pain JofM. Whe I rented in Bankview someone stole the spare tire from under my truck. When I got a flat at least it was n front of the apartment and not on the highway somewhere. Check you spares!! I hate thieves.

It was good to see a couple of easy tips to prevent cords being taken. I like the zip tie one. Can't zip tie a spare tire.

FIRST, SORRY FOR BRINGING THIS THREAD BACK... BUT...

Jolinar:

Information was received at my office today regarding the location of these 3 extension cords. It would appear that it was not a case of theft, but rather an unfortunate single accident, resulting in the traumatic loss of three cords.

I have uncovered the identity of the extension cord bandit. I can not reveal the bandit's name publicly, but I think you may know him/her. You no longer have to live in fear that the bandit will return in the night and run off with new cords. He/she has no desire to repeat this terrible crime, and feels badly about your loss.

I know Jolinar in real (outside of CP) life... He also knows the bandit. I thought it would be more fun to bring this up in public!

Worth, that is one of the weirdest damn things I've ever seen on the internet. And I've seen some pretty jacked up stuff. Greatest Wdf pic ever. What the hell....

Left a broom by the side of my garage earlier today as i went inside to have lunch. Came back out to finish sweeping the driveway to find the broom was gone. Looked down the street to see a German Shepard dog with my broom in his mouth. Dog must have thought it was a big stick.
