found this stat interesting in the first article:

So, to make the playoffs, the Flames need to win their two remaining games (both against Iowa) and Rockford has to lose both of their remaining games (against Peoria and Chicago) OR Houston has to lose all three of their remaining games (all against San Antonio).

yep. its not unheard of that we win 2 games and rockford loses 2. i think houston will have no problem getting in as they play last place san antonio all 3 times. though san antonio certainly has been better since their awful start, i don't see them getting all 6 points in regulation.

Interesting. I was perplexed for a few minutes, because I knew that Ranheim (and others) had scored more than that although I knew that was with Salt Lake in the IHL, but that was after Hull

I had forgot then when Hull played for Moncton that was the AHL and then the farm team moved to the IHL
