Default Billy Bob Thornton interview - Canada is potatos without the gravy

Billy Bob did an interview on the Q (Radio program on CBC). He took offense to being referenced as an actor when the interview was supposed to be 100% about his band.

He takes a swipe at Canada after acting like a little kid.

What a wanker.

Billy Bob Thornton has a band? I thought he was an actor?

He's still the baddest, funniest Santa there is. Nothing he can say will take that away.

<Billy's head explodes>

Come on.....he is a "musical historian"....it's the same thing. And he knows more than a band that is 20 years old.

Hey Billy-Bob, people in canada stand up and throw things when a good band takes the stage. We like a little think called quality and talent up here.

As an actor you have talent, as a musician, not so much.

I like Billy Bob, but watching this, I can't help but think there's something seriously wrong with him. Like he's heavily medicated.

He's probably still sad Jolie isn't sitting on his face anymore.

That would be enough to make any guy go mental.

His one word answers, his shifty eyes... just a bad guy to interview all around. The other band mates seem genuinely uncomfortable (or high) too.

May have to youtube them to see how they sound, now.

I kind of feel sorry for his bandmates. They seemed a little uncomfortable.

I thought the interviewer was the problem. He wanted to make the interview all about Billy Bob. The only member of the band he addressed by name was Billy Bob. I suspect that Thornton wanted to be treated the same as the rest of his bandmates and was insulted when he wasn't.

This might have been part of it the more that I think about it. I think the CBC interviewer gave off that "Indie CBC pc-hire ######bag" aura, and he was definitely part of the problem.

Wow. I'm sorry but he just comes off as a total ######bag.

Dissing Canada was real classy too.

Is that a common aura? What does that even mean?

Just that pretentious, arrogant attitude you see from a lot of these guys from the CBC that they're somehow superior and how they seem to be trying too hard to be cool and hip, yet cutting edge and deep... and what GreenTeaFrapp said.

I actually think that Jian did a pretty good job considering. I didn't sense any superiority from him at all.

And seriously, I can't imagine that any interviewer anywhere wouldn't introduce Billy Bob Thornton as an actor. They aren't getting on the radio because they're opening for Willie Nelson...lol. People couldn't care less about exclusive interviews with no-name bands unless there is a twist.

Tom Petty he ain't.
