Pretty sad commentary on Lethbridge's season right there.
For the most part, they are working out there, they just have no answer for Calgary's attack. That being said, I really hope Sonne is back for the third round. It is concerning that he's missed this much time.

Sonne took the pregame skate last night so he is very close to returning. I don't think I have seen domination like I did last night in that 2nd period. It was seriously watching men vs boys. The Canes had absolutely nothing.

It is still amazing to see the level of determination in the Hitmen. The Edmonton papers had it right in describing this team, they come at you in waves. I am very, very surprised at how easily we have handled the Canes though.
Good news on Sonne. I wonder if they sit him out tonight as well, in the hopes we wrap it up and he can get a few more days rest? Otherwise, bring him back for game 5, if necessary?

Even if his reputation was warrented it still shouldn't affect how a ref calls the game and just goes to show how terrible the reffing is in the WHL that those idiots can let a reputation of a guy affect how they call the game.

Have enough incidents and you don't get the benefit of the doubt anymore. There is always a reason why he is involved... if he's not the one reacting then he's causing others to react. People notice this and pay more attention whenever he's around because he either causes trouble or draws trouble to him. Like Avery and Tootoo, he isn't an angel that gets picked on.

Got to hand it to the Hitmen. Totally focused with the job at hand. Lowry is doing a brilliant job coaching this team. Why wasn't he the Coach of the Year again?

Not too surprising if you watch the Hurricanes all year.
If they have to work they quit. It happened against the Blades in a few games as well. When the Blades forced the Canes to work for their chances the Canes chose to take the easy route every time.
