i agree with your statement about boyd. i had hoped he would really generate some offense for us. at least be a replacement for what we lost with lundmark leaving. but i have only had a few days to be disappointed in him, not the last 18 months!
I'm not saying that he absolutely deserves it....just basing it on McGill's comments. He rattled off a whole list of things that Chucko's doing better and mentioned "intangibles", which is why I made that statement. The thing about Chucko is that you never know which guy is going to show up each game, or sometimes even from shift to shift!!

When he's playing full tilt, he can do a lot. He just doesn't do that often enough!!

Chucko will get a better shot next year when his contract is not so high. Look for him to get a two way with about a 550000 NHL hit .
