Technically you should be streaming stuff from your laptop to your ps3, and using such programs as Tversity, nero's media sharing, wmp11, or Vuze.
I stream stuff from the PC to the PS3. and it helps on cutting down the hassle of putting in disks.
If you can find the .aac files, the ps3 will natively play them. Itunes doesn't support the sharing that the PS3 does, so you'll have to find something that will do DLNA3
