Did you mean that everyone has a right to an opinion? Or did you mean that just because he has personal experience and knowledge that your opinion is just as persuasive as his? The fact that he has played does in fact make his opinions more "valid". If the latter that makes no sense. He has lived it and knows things we can only guess at. If the former, I agree completely.

It would be cool to have their perspective on the forum. Yes, there's rivalries, but it's all in good fun.

Isn't a bit surprising, in this age of marketing, that marketing and PR departments of NHL teams don't make players interact with fans on messageboards. Say injured player would spare an hour or so of his precious time to answer questions on a board, even Ken King did that once here.
