What's this song I'm thinking of?

I've heard this cool song on x92.9 a few times, but have never caught the band name or the song name.

Basically, it's a guy rapping, but then the chorus is really rock driven.

So the guy's rapping along and then the guitar goes "deh neh...den neh....den ne... and it goes into a rock chorus, but the guy's still kind of rapping.

Nope. But the thing is, anyone who has heard the song will know what song I'm talking about right away with that description. It's the only song on the radio with a rap verse and a rock chorus.

Sorry, your description sounded general enough to fit pretty much everything on commercial radio. But what would I know, I haven't listened to the radio beyond what I pick up through cultural osmosis for a whole lotta years.

I have no idea, I hate Linkin Park and that song. Just thought that might be it.

Wooohoo found it! It turns out X929's website allows you to go through all the songs they've played.

It's called "If rap gets jealous", by K'Naan, and oddly enough it features Kirk Hammett of Mettallica on guitar.
