I see a lot of maturing going on right now, so ya, I think she'll be more mature at 18 than she is at 17. 18 is of course an arbitrary marker for adulthood and there's definitely no assurance someone is an adult at 18. I find adulthood is a byproduct of life experience, usually bad experiences. But ya, age and maturity are very relative. I know too many 40 year olds who aren't as mature as a lot of 16-18 year olds in many ways, but they do at least have some life experience to draw from when making decisions. At least in theory they do.
I guess that was my point, that it's never as black and white as "she's x years old, so it's wrong". I have a 14 year old cousin who has been through a lot in her short life. At this point, I would say she is more able to deal with the psychological issues that arise in sexual relationships than I am! I'm not saying I wouldn't kill the 30 year old who followed her home from school though. So yeah... it's conflicting. If she was in a healthy relationship I think it would be ok... but would you ever trust the guy enough to believe it was "healthy". My relationships always fail because I get too involved in them. Isn't that what we worry would happen to the kids? That they would let the relationshp control and shape their life in a negative way? I do that every time!!!
Guess I'm just playing around with thought experiments.

Add all of the chicks in the Burger King commercial too, ive tried to find one in that commerical i wouldnt hit and its impossible.
(I hope theyre all of age so not to offend anyone.......)
FHM is a mainstream men's magazine that relies on selling advertisement space make money. They aren't going to put a underage girl on that list for fear of the social outcry/loss of revenue. That doesn't mean Hillary Duff wasn't way hotter at 16 than than Hale Berry is at 40.
Come on. Jennifer Anniston hasn't been hot in 10 years!
Poison: It's the same thing with that Hitmen commercial!

It basically shows lots of goals, hits, fights and saves. Except each one has hotties cut in between. It is almost hilarious actually. Reminds me of the Simpsons Duff beer feminist commercials.
Basically the message is: Hitmen are great, and you'll get to mingle with hot ass 17-27 year olds and maybe get laid if they win.
You've never seen the Hitmen commercial where they show constant shots of attractive high school girls acting like they are at an NSYNC concert?? It used to get brought up in every game thread at least once or twice.

No! Dammit! Is this shown on regular tv or are we talking jumbotron at the flames games or where do i find said ad?
I like sex with pretty women. I wouldn't do it with underage girls (now that I'm an old perverted ), because it's wrong, and I can have better sex with someone else.

Which is funny considering I've seen the Oil Kings ads, who make the point that "Families Rule". To pretty different markets.
