Okay, we all understand that having sex with legally underage girls is against the law, and generally not accepted in our culture.

Maybe I'm weird--but to me a 16 year old is a child. She might have developed some of the features of a woman, but mentally, she (or he) is a child--and so to "hit" that would, even if it isn't strictly speaking pedophilia, be exploitation under the best case scenario. She can't give informed consent in my view, and can't have a good conversation over dinner first. I know that people will joke about this and poke fun, and I'm actually not offended because I know or suspect that
1. The story in the OP is very likely untrue
2. The "jailbait" pictures are likely of girls that are at least 18. Some people look very young well into their twenties.

However, it did get a little dumb after a while. For one thing, all the pictures make the same joke. For another, it creates a weird, creepy boy-locker-room vibe that isn't usually the atmosphere at Calgarypuck, and some people (like, I don't know... women?) might find that atmosphere hostile.

I'm a parent, so that may change my perspective too--but to me you don't have to be a parent to know and realize that an underage girl is somebody's child. Even "hypothetically" and "in the abstract."
