Bouma is only listed at 6'0", 194lbs..............thats not really big by hockey standards.

The suspicion is that Mikael Backlund has a concussion (which is upper body, I suppose). Not a great sign. However, the opinion of the Rockets' PBP broadcaster: "If I was a betting man, I'd put my money on Mikael Backlund returning to the Rockets lineup Tuesday night in Kamloops. Backlund practiced for a third straight day, and I spoke to him this morning after practice. He told me that if it was up to him, he'd play tomorrow night." http://reganbartel.blogspot.com/

I read an article saying he thinks he is ready to go, its just the trainers holding him out because he isnt really needed at the moment.

Kamloops must be pissed right off about this game - three seconds away from a 2-1 win.

Nemisz had a goal and an assist in Windsor's win. They are moving on to the 2nd round.

Bouma had 2 goals including the game and series winner tonight to finish off the Cougars.

Aulie, Backlund and Grantham are moving on as there team's finished the sweep.

Anyone watch Brodie for that round? It sounds like he's had quite a series.

College players are all done now. Fulton and Severyn's teams bowed out in the NCAA tournament tonight. Marvin's team of course didn't make the cut.

Nick Larson had a hattrick tonight and now has 19 goals. Should pass his 20 goal mark easily that he set last year.

Rough night for Negrin -3 as Swift Current is eliminated from the WHL playoffs in a 4-1 loss.

Anyone think Negrin gets assigned to QC/Calgary soon?

I would assign him to QC. How many games do they have left?
