Looking over the predictions from page one, seems Moon is doing the best and myself and Jagger not so much.

Surprised to see the team led by the "best coach in the east" faring so poorly against Lethbridge...

Hilarious bit about Carson McMillan from the "other" board's prospect review - "He fits the mold of the new age enforcer in the NHL -- one who is big, gritty and won’t hurt his team during five-on-five. McMillan will probably find himself between the AHL and the ECHL next season."

Based on the Wild's play this season, I don't see why Carson the enforcer couldn't start on their 4th line next season.

Pretty sure they confused "enforcer" with "energy player". McMillan is not an enforcer type at all.

Well it isn;t like the Hurricanes are the Oil Kings or Cougars.

Plus, considering that the Canes have now played two games in a row it is very likely the "best coach in the East" is able to "rally" his team and win the final two games of the series when the Canes come out and lay an egg in the final two games.

Speedy Creek and the Hat will play a game 7 on Tuesday after the Tigers beat the Broncos 3-0 tonight.

They mentioned that he was asked to take boxing lessons after rookie camp by the Wild. Less "confused," and more "never seen him play," I think.

Huh?

I got Giants in 4, Rockets in 4, Ams in 5, Hitmen in 4, had the Chiefs in 6 (won in 5), have the Tigers in 7 (it's at Game 7). Totally blew the Wheaties and might have blown the Canes one. Still, that's not so bad really. 4 totally correct results, 1 correct outcome and 2 more possibles. I can live with that....

At the time I did it, 4 series were over, and yes you did well in guessing those, but so did almost everyone else. The one you got wrong you really got wrong, as opposed to most others guessers.

All I did was if you guessed right, no points, if you guessed "Hitmen in 5" and they won in four, you got a point...low score wins.
Brandon won in 4, so if you guessed Brandon in 7, it would be 3 points. If you guessed Kootenay in 7, then 4 points, etc. Not scientific.

When I looked at it, it went:
Moon 1, Flickered Flame 2, Resolute/Berger 3, 604Flames 4, Jagger/Aeneas 5.

The Blades beat the Hurricances 5-1 tonight. Man, that coach must be really good, being as they were down 3-2 in the series and having game 6 in Lethbridge. Ya, it must be all the coach's work that made sure the team came out and played a great game to win 5-1, going 2 for 9 on the powerplay and not allowing a goal on the 'Canes PP. Game 7 goes Wednesday in Saskatoon.

Fair enough. I did blow the Ice one totally. Just decided to go with a shock result. Not happening there. Still have a chance of getting 7 out of 8 series right though. Not really meaning to come across like I was throwing a hissy fit.

No problem. I will Pm you "Gunners" when Arsenal beats Liverpool in the Champions League final; might get a hissy fit out of you then...

Yeah, that would certainly do it! Be worse if it was the Mancs though.

Tough loss for the Broncos. Between two evenly matched teams, Swift Current's injuries didn't do them any favours. Among them was Dansereau, who's career ended tonight.

The injuries hurt the Broncos. Both Doyle and Dansereau are/were big parts of their team. I wouldn't mind facing the Tigers in round 2.

If the Hitmen face the Tigers next round and the Blades miraculously beat the Wheatkings it could be 3 straight easy 4 game sweeps for the Hitmen leading into their showdown with the Giants.

If I were a Hitmen fan I would be a huge fan of the Blades right now. Wheatkings appear to be the only threat to giving the Hitmen any trouble prior to the WHL finals.

I must say it's a little weird listening to a Medicine Hat broadcast. Only one guy to call the entire came, no colour analyst or anything similar, and the same guy covers the brief postgame wrapup. not to mention the fact that he seems like a grandfatherly type, and a little confused, such as stating that the Tigers might play Saskatoon in the next round.
