To suggest this suggests that you are ill informed about the true strength of a big ass ape.

Neutral setting...

The gorillas opposable thumbs are neutralized by a 1 tonne bear hug. The strength of the ape per se is far greater than the 'WSM', not even lebron james gets the jump on that guy. The Polar bear is GSP and the Gorilla's camp is complaining to the nevada fight commission.

Here's how I see this developing.

The Gorilla and the Polar Bear sight each other from afar, and come together in an hours-long staredown.





Things are getting pretty tense. They're both growling. The Polar Bear is flexing its razor-sharp claws, while the Gorilla tenses his muscular body. The Polar Bear makes the first move, and tries lunging at the Gorilla.



What happens next?




Game. Over.

Awesome, in that case. Optimist does win. Unless it's a fight like him and dino bot. It was an epic battle that saw a once proud adversary converted by the henry the 5th like leader in Optimist Prime(al). I cried at the dino bot death scene. He was the best poetic death of a cartoon warrior since the ronin story, or the legend of graywolf.

Dude, Beast Wars sucks. You don't need to keep talking about it. Keep it on topic about Gorillas and Polar Bears at the least. No one cares about Dinobot - who incidentally also sucks compared to this guy.
