You just motivated me to go for a run before the snow comes. This post was important to make.

You say that now, but when July comes and she's got those long snaky fingers of hers caressing you with sunshine, you'll give in and go crawling back to her.

I went for a long walk this afternoon. Slipped on some ice and got a nice goose egg on the back of head plus a nasty headache

Blah... Another 8" of snow on the streets up here in the 'hood, but I'm guessing the major streets are mostly clear?

Just finished shovelling the driveway. Not as bad as last weekend but it still sucked balls.

Damn I was supposed to go mooch off my parents (who live in High River) for dinner today, but my mom phoned to tell me there was so much snow they couldn't even get out of the garage.

Um, do you mean sit on your rump or sit in your rumpus room? Please clarify and type slowly as I'm from Edmonton.

BTW, how much snow did Calgary get? Sunny, clear skies up here.

It's as bad as she says it is. I belong to a homewoners association and we pay a monthly fee to have our sidewalks and driveways shoveled. The people hired are using a bobcat to clear the driveways as i type. there's a lot of snow on the ground.

Its beautiful as far as a sunny day goes, here in Calgary. Maybe the skiers will love all this snow? Farmers? Summer will come eventually.

If it came on the mountains I would love it (Although I'm stuck inside studying finance all weekend).

Sunshine got 4cm in the past 24 hours, Louise got 1, Fernie got 4. Only place that got some it seems is Castle, with 25cm in the past 24 hours.

What's the use of all this snow if it doesn't fall in the mountains!?

All the fat people in the city needed a workout so Mother Nature decided they should shovel.
