I just finished watching Season Two. While I liked the first season, I was much more into the second season. The Slap Bet episode killed me. When Barney hit Marshall three times in a row, I laughed until I cried and I cried until I couldn't breath.
I just bought Season three. I can't say I am looking forward to seeing Britney Spears though. I've seen clips of her on the show and wasn't impressed.
i don't know what season it's in, but awhile after the original slap bet episode when Barney is torturing them with his one man play, i completely lost it when Marshall got up and slapped Barney to the ground, then straight faced said "that's 2". i had to pause the show for a good 5 minutes after that one

That may be one of the best moments of the entire series, I just love when shows tie jokes together at the least expected times, Oh and that is in season two.

Easily the best moment of the series, and probably will never be topped.
I thought the orange Harvey's trays were a nice Canadian touch to the last show.
see unlike Fox News, this show knows how to do satire. they mock Canada, but do it in a funny way and they get all the details right. plus the fact that the Canadian character is played by a Canadian actress makes it ok

That was my easily favourite episode of HIMYM to date. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in a TV show besides that one.
Marshall still has 5 slaps left to dish out, doesn't he?

TBQH, if that other moronic show didn't make fun of the militairy they probably would have gotten laughs rather then complains from Canadians.
Make fun of our chesterfields all you want, but the troops in afghanistan have made a pretty big sacrafice.

The first episode with the slap bet is called slap bet, its also the episode with Robin Sparkles, which also has that hilarious music video. Season 1 I think... if not then early season 2....actually I think it is season 2
I started watching this show when I started watching Big Bang Theory (On CBS, because How I Met Your Mother is on immediately after). Now I'm hooked. I need to get the first couple seasons of it.
