Any Denim Fanatics ?
I was just curious... Ill prob get laughed at for having a lot of jeans and prob laughed at even more because i spend so much on them but anyway...I used to have over 90 pairs of denim at one point but i lost like 85 pounds so i had to toss almost all of them ( give away or sell) Now im starting to buy denim again ... mostly ROck and Republic but i have some True Religion and Diesel as well.... just curious if anyone else around was into premium denim jeans?

I wear wrangler relaxed fit, my boys are very unhappy in any jeans that are not wrangler relaxed fit. I cannot imagine paying any more for jeans that only serve to hurt my balls.

Haha, you can be a denim fanatic? I just pay for whatever doesn't lose its colour after one wash.

90 PAIRS??? WOW!!!
Say each costs at least $200, you've spent close to $20000 on jeans!! And I'm low balling the jeans, so probably close to 30 grand! Jeeez man!
I only own 2 pairs of sevens and that's about it. Rest are good ol AE, Gap, and Buffalo.

900x200 = $18,000.
Not that it contradicts your point or anything, but just saying...

90 pairs x $200 = $18000.

I won't even pay more than 20 for a pair of jeans. God, I feel cheap.

I think I have 3 pairs of Seven's, 2 pairs of Paige, and 1 Rock & Republic.
Also a bunch of old navy and other random brands (silvers, levi's, etc.)
So yeah, I probably have too many jeans and also pay too much for most of them. But the designer jeans really make the butt look better, so I feel it's worth it.

At the risk at letting the cat out of the bag I haven't bought a pair of jeans that wasn't from Winners in almost 10 years. I still get quality denim, just for half the price. All my jeans are name brand, just they cost like 50 bucks each.
Paying more than $40-70 for a pair of jeans = chump.
Girls I can understand sometimes but most women are so oblivious they wouldn't even know it if expensive jeans looked worse (not picking on you Peanut but you mentioned it). I've seen so many girls wearing designer jeans that bought jeans that don't suit their butt and they look horrible. Buy jeans that make your ass look nice all other things are secondary. And I'm an ass aficionado so I'd know.

Me as well. Jeans gotta be nice and tight right there, unless you have extra baggage... well in that case, go as loose as you want!

Like most guys, I used to be against buying fancy pants jeans. Then I realized i wear jeans almost very day, so I must as well spend the 150 bucks to get some quality. I get use out of them every day, get a quality piece of clothing that will last longer, plus I look (a little) better.
Now I'm in the less, but better, clothes camp. I spend about the same amount of money (ie, not much), but I feel like i have better things that last longer and don't wear out as fast.

I guess this is what you learn when you work with a bunch of pretentious fashionista girls, but you're not really supposed to wash jeans for the first couple of months when you buy them. Every couple of months is enough apparently, and when you do, make sure to turn them inside out to help counter color loss.
anyway, im gonna go smoke some pole now.

Not sure if he was insinuating that they need to be able to be washed frequently, just that they shouldn't fade after a single wash.
Not only do I only wash my jeans only about once a month, I only wash my hoodies about once every 18 months. And nothing except socks and boxers ever goes in the dryer. And everything gets washed inside out.
