Worst Baby Name
So I was talking to my buddy the other day. When his stepmom had a baby, there was another new mother at the hospital that named her newborn daughter $hithead. You immediately think WTF?!?!!? Who would name their baby girl that?
But she was African Canadian and it was pronounced $hith-Aid.
But still, imagine being the teacher taking attendance for the first time?
I had a massive laugh over this name. I just thought I had to share.

Baby names are totally out of control nowadays. Just ridiculous.

The worst one I've seen yet is this one I saw on the news, I think it was spelled "Mersaydeez" or something similar to that. Wow, what were they thinking?!

Not saying it isn't true, but this type of stuff has been going on for a long time:
http://www.snopes.com/racial/language/names.asp
$hithead is on the list of supposed baby names linked to African-Americans. Maybe the joke has infiltrated the border?

Hopefully, little Mersaydeez (and, yes, I had to copy and paste the name) will exceed expectations and become a stripper. But realistically, she's probably destined to a life of gonzo porn.

I played hockey as a kid with a guy named "Dillon" not a bad name in itself but his last name was ....Pickle
Parents should have be shot the minute they tried to register it.

I might have been able to talk the hubby into that one, but I don't think it'll fit with a girl... Maybe Jarmoelle? Miikasha? Craigette? Toddandra? Robin? Dionne?

I always thought that Lou Gehrig's parents were flirting with the Karma gods. You give your kid that name and he is bound to wind up with Lou Gehrig's disease..
Seriously, what were they thinking? Talk about your all-time backfires.

We should just exterminate everyone who doesn't choose from a pre-accepted list of Anglocized names. The baby can be deported.

I've always thought Moon Unit is a great name for a female. I wouldn't do it to my own child, but it's kind of appropriate IMO given females, moon cycles and all that stuff.

I like the ABCDE name. But a name that would go better with today's children is Obcde.
