Putting gang members in a single facility could give them an opportunity to network with each other, Saskatchewan's corrections minister, Darryl Hickie, said earlier this week.
I was hoping they'd network some shivs into each others' bellies.

This idea is a lot like my "Gang Super Island" idea... where we put all gangs on an island, then we arm them, and then we record and sell advertising space.

Bad idea. But seriously, if they they are new to Canada then just deport them. Simple as that. If they come up with something about being persecuted in their home country. Then they should have behaved here.

I have to agree with Mr. Hickie here.
Putting a bunch of people accused of organized crime into a single place where they can all get together and organize just has bad idea written all over it.
If anything these people need to be kept as isolated as possible. From the outside world and their contemporaries in jail.

Well maybe we need to work them really hard so they don't have time or the energy to organize. How about they build a highway out of pebbles to the antarctic one stone at a time by hand.

In all seriousness. I'm actually a bit of a stickler for human rights. However, I see nothing wrong with forcing criminals to do manual labour. Especially when it's the time of crime that has such a negative overall effect on society like organized crime.
