Rumor- Kane Vs Tim Sylvia
Quote:
DETROIT, MI - Former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Tim Sylvia was involved in a fight at a bar in downtown Detroit Michigan with 7 foot, 320 pound WWE Superstar, Glen 'Kane' Jacobs. No details are currently being released on how the fight started. A witness says the two were arguing and Tim Sylvia instigated the fight. Jacobs quickly took Sylvia to the ground and repeatedly punched him in the face. The bartender along with a bystander helped pull Jacobs off Sylvia. Sylvia was said to have suffered a broken nose and a black eye.The police were notified but since the fight was not prolonged and neither men wanted to press any charges, no arrests were made. Sylvia was driven by a friend who was with him to the hospital to treat the broken nose. Glen Jacobs left the scene with his wife shortly after.

If it's true, that's a hell of a fight. It also shows that Sylvia really doesn't have a ground game

What people forget is that a lot of these pro wrestlers have pretty extensive backgrounds in amateur wrestling and they are athletes. Plus your fighting a near 7 foot tall 300 + pounder who's bound to have leverage.
Jacobs though was a two sport athlete in college (basketball and football) and holy crap he was a teacher, can you imagine a 7 foot tall 300 pound guy with a bad mullet telling you to do your homework?

Also don't forget that pro wrestlers are jacked on roids and a lot of the mma organizations test quite a bit for performance enhancers.

Lot of other factors to and it's not like it was anything like a UFC match. How drunk were they? How fast did it happen? This is a bar brawl --they aren't trying for a submission hold -- just trying to land a few haymakers.
Or hey it could just be a setup for an upcoming new gimic for WWE.

Yeah, I cant find anything on my MMA news site, and they are usually quick on the draw with this stuff. Nothing else on Google regarding it either.. still be awesome if true though, I hate Sylvia.

Well I guess that settles my thread about why ninjas haven't been beating up UFC fighters, the WWE wrestlers are taking care of it.

Yeah take a look back at his days as Issac Yankum and the fake diesel, he had the epic edmontonion.
He's also on wrestlecrap as one of the weridest gimmicks of all time as the Christmas creature. They basically dressed him up as a giant christmas tree.

Sad thing is, I'd still believe the story if it Patrick Kane took down Sylvia.
