I've watched the famous 'final scene' over 20 times in the last couple of weeks. Read articles and opinions from a number of sources, just now after watching it yet again I've come decision that I really do love how it ended and after letting it sink in I realize how brilliant it is.
I just finished the entire series for the 2nd time since October and just want to say some things about the finale.

Just going to throw this out there but anyone who says Tony dies is an idiot and doesn't understand David Chase. It was supposed to show how close to death Tony is and always be. From the opening scene when he looks like he's in a casket (called a red herring people) to the final scene when the guy is wearing the Members Only jacket worn by the guy who killed himself because Tony wouldn't let him go to Florida. (hint: you don't ever quit the mob, Tony will be in it forever)

The ending relects how life just continues in the Soprano household. The more things change the more they stay the same.

Chase didn't have a blockbuster ending, so he ended the show by showing that life will continue. Carmela will continue to worry about that fateful day when Tony gets arrested or killed. Meadow will continue to be smoking hot and blinded to the fact her father is a major mafia figure, yet she constantly complains about how the FBI mistreats the Sopranos. AJ will continue to alternate acting like a Soprano in training and a little bitch. And Tony will always be Tony.

Is anyone surprised that the gentleman that served me my coffee this morning had a muller that would make Ryan Smyth cry?
This is why I don't want to be in Mulletville!
Someone save me!

I was just on a website that had a news story, the title was "Man. braces for spring flood". I was thinking, who really cares if a man is bracing for some flooding, but apparently I missed the period at the end of "man" and it means Manitoba, not some random person. Now I feel smart.

Not an empty void, but it contains the magic bunny thread that they make bunnyhugs out of.

Paul Newman's is better. Especially the kind with the mushrooms in it. Too bad you can't find it in Canada anymore.

There are pasta companies in business? I'm pretty sure I've only ever eaten homemade sauce and always made by someone who's name ends in a vowel.

I make my own spaghetti sauce, and my last name ends in Y, so I only count as an honorary Italian.

It actually isn't that terribly hard to make, you can freeze large quantities of it and tastes WAY better than store bought stuff.

My sister in law and I were talking about her job (she's an accountant) and how tough/busy it gets for her during tax season. I said, "That sucks."

Somehow, that translated into me volunteering to help her out during my week off from my job. I hate family sometimes. I really do.

So be it. Brodeur is a giant cheating ######bag who deserves to have his bank account ravaged by his ex wife, so that she can spend it on frivilous crap that no one needs or wants or should ever have in life.

wow. that post is full of anger. Don't get me wrong he shouldn't cheat but we don't know the whole story.

Maybe the wife and the sister were in on it so that they could share the ridiculous alimony that would be awarded if he was caught cheating.
