Was at wedding that used Foo Fighters, Everlong. I thought that was a good choice...if you're rock fans....or When You're Gone by Avril Lavigne.

Making Memories of Us by Keith Urban; Forever and Ever Amen or Deeper than the Hollow by Randy Travis; Carried Away by George Straight; Unforgettable by Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole...are you looking for jazz-influenced, rock, country songs? Other genres?

Our first dance was 'Push' by Sarah McLachlan. We didn't have a "song" either, but when I heard this song, I knew it was the one.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60vivNX1NCw
Oddly enough, she said in an interview that it was the first true love song she has ever written...

What do you mean by "wedding song"? do you mean first dance, aisle walk, grand entrance...etc?
i put the music together for my wedding (had a dj play it). i had songs for each 'event'; garter toss, cake cut, (and ones stated above). dj filled in the rest like during down time.

 oh, congratulations

"Misty." Awesome song, classy--won't offend anyone's tastes regardless of their musical "orientation." Stan Getz has a really nice instrumental version if for some reason you're not a fan of Ella Fitzgerald or Sarah Vaughn.

gotta be Van Morrison since he's a legend. Plus, he wrote the song. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he wrote it for his wife to make amends for being away and not being the world's greatest husband.

If I ever get married, and it's not looking good right now, I would have Van Morrison's "I'll be your Lover, too" as my first dance song. It's too romantic. Might be a little mellow for some, but I love Van Morrison and this song so it's perfect.
