Blame the govt for being stupid enough to give these people money.

Are you sure you are eating healthier and not just buying things that advertise they are healthier for you hence the cost?

On a side note, the mother isn't that fat she has a six pack from what I counted.

The UK's social system is even more ridiculous than ours as far as rewarding mediocrity goes. I agree that they shouldn't be given more money but there are plenty of fat homeless people, here and there. We feed our homeless very well.

I think it is a bit more expensive to eat healthy.....lean cut meats at Costco are more expensive than your $8 dollar Teen Burger meal deal at A&W.

But, you can still eat healthy at a very decent price, so there is no excuse.

Are they fat because they are lazy or lazy because they are fat?

At last, we come to the philosophical crux of the matter.

Instead of giving them money that they can spend on whatever they want, work with a budget and pay their rent and bills (no cable, no long distance, no internet), and buy their food for them on a weekly basis.

You want extra comforts in life, go work for them. There are plenty of jobs those fatties could do, hereditary or not.

Or . . . did they watch the Simpson's episode where Homer gets to work from home because he was grossly obese and a lightbulb went on.

When I saw the headline and picture, I thought this was from The Onion.

After I read the copy, I still thought this was from The Onion.

Hey dude, fat girls need love too, and besides she's gazing at you through the camera wondering what it would be like to tear a piece off of Locke, then dip it in KFG gravy and eat it with a nice chianti, but no beans, because those are too healthy.

Or are foods in the USA less regulated and (for instance, McDonalds) have more fat in them?
Simply put, too much eating out for dinner, and look at the portion sizes.

I've spent a lot of time in the US living out of hotel rooms. Breakfasts generally have biscuits and gravy (that white gravy that's horrible for you) tonnes of fatty foods. Then when you go out, they give you these gigantic portions. Add to that ordering appetizers and dessert and it's really easy to tell why they're so fat.

Allowed to I always marvel at the physics and engineering required for it to happen.

This would be just another addition to my healthcare plan. Each five pounds you pay another five bucks for healthcare. Smoker pays more, drinker pays more, bad driving record pays more. Just imagine how much money the government could rake in from these booze guzzling, fat lazy arse, cancer stick puffers?

So they can't even do simple things like working in an office sitting on their ass typing on a computer?

Really?

Don't forget those people that engage in unsafe sex practices, oh and dope smokers need to be charged more. And people that watch more then 2 hours of T.V. a night.

I also think that we should bill chronic masterbaters, any one who grips the golf club more then 3 times a week needs to pay a tax.

It can lead to carpal tunnel, hairy palms, blindness, and curved wang syndrome!

Wow, way to add intelligent dialogue to the conversation.

I'm tired of lazy people claiming their fat bodies are genetic or something. Sometimes it is, but often they're just too lazy to exercise, work and prepare proper meals and then expecting the world to care for them. Let them work and don't pay anything, I say. And the father is fat; it's just that he looks like an athlete next to the rest of his clan. This is a sad story if you if you think about it.
