A few years ago my wife and I were on a list for a puppy from a breeder here in Vancouver. We figure now that we have our Borzoi that we may get a Silken (or "Long hair Whippet) yet.
Your dogs are damn fast, aren't they!

Levi and Huxley enjoying a nap together. This is an old-ish picture--a couple of years now. Levi's 11 and Huxley's 8, so they're both pretty mellow (a less charitable person would say "lazy") now. Puppies are cute, but older dogs are the best.

^^ Awwwwww...
Your dog, Inuk, the lighter one, looks like my Huskys twin. The only difference is that mine is a bit smaller. She has always been on the small side.
For anyone with Huskies, do you get people thinking your dog is a wolf? It seems anytime I walk my dog, I get someone saying that she's a wolf. Some people get really worked up about it.

Thanks Eastern Girl,
We've had quite a few people ask if she was part wolf. We had one kid yell to his mother that we were walking a coyote.

Yeah, it happens a lot to me. Most just ask if she is a wolf and I say no and that's the end of it, but this one woman with her kid just persisted. She kept saying that I had no business putting a wolf on a leash and that someone should report me. I had to back away slowly from her.
