The Edmonton Salvation Army Cafeteria is probably their best dining experience.

Next time they overcharge, take the amount they overcharged and deduct it from what you should probably leave. hey, if they wanna be careless with the bill so can you.
Edit: when they're being dicks, not a legit accident with otherwise good service.

There's a better piano bar/lounge type place in edmonton which I believe is way better. It's called the Ivory Lounge on gateway somewhere. Next time go there, the service is pretty good but it's pretty busy all night.
That sounded very frustrating, service in Edmonton is worse than what I find in Calgary and I find Calgary's frustrating at times. People here just look so darn angry at life, I rarely ever get a nice smile here. So sad

Yeah, Gateway a few feet north of South Edmonton Common. Its on your left when you are heading north. As far as "classy" bars is concerned, its my fav.

Wait... they have pianos in Edmonton?
I was told the only musical entertainment there were accordion bands.

Maybe the person that wrote the bill is the same person that draws up the Oilers contracts?

At least by not tipping you were able to send a message that would have had some impact. The waitress lost $20-$30 from their wages due to the poor service. There are some who wish we just had a service charge and no tipping. Stories like these would become much more common if that were to happen.

when they say 'piano bar' it's actually a couple of Casio keyboards picked up at radio shack. No need to even pay someone to play one of those...throw the demo on and voila...a cultured night out in S*** the bEdmonton

I hate to say it as a lover of my city and a hater of the crap that is Edmonton. I do think that overall Calgary is a nicer city, but too be honest there's not much more to do here than there is there, except watch a hockey team that wins games
