I tried listening to that, but I cannot stand listening to a teenager talk for more than 30 seconds.

I struggled with it aswell... I guess there was an incident with Kanye aswell. http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdail...brown-support/
I find it both amusing and sad how much mainstream media caters directly to this trash.

thought this was a funny story. Forget where I read it, but Radiohead came out with a statement saying Miley has a lot of growing up to do and needs to learn some humility after she was quoted as saying she is going to 'ruin' Radiohead for not meeting with her at the grammy's. Just makes her look like a spoiled brat having a tantrum for not getting what she wanted.

Funniest part is Kanye West was being as much a little bitch as Miley Cyrus about it.
Lol..I just listened to that interview for a few seconds and she talks about how Chris Martin hung out with her...why does that not surprise me? What a tool.

I'm a big Radiohead fan but honestly that's kinda dickish - in the end she is just a teenage girl and trying to make some kind of statement by refusing to meet with her just comes across as pretentious and petty.
And yah, she's acting immaturely in bitching about it, but again she IS immature, whereas Yorke and the boys don't have the same excuse. Boo-urns!

Ehhh, not a fan of either, to be honest, but obviously she has some growing up to do... She's a 15-year old teenage girl. Who knows what she's really like behind it all, though, she could be annoying enough to warrant such treatment.

Radiohead refusing to acknowledge someone manufactured by the Disney Corp. music industry. Shocking.
If Chris Martin was hanging out with her then odds are she has a penis because he is all about the schlong.

Of course she has a lot of growing up to do. She is freaking 14 isn't she? Honestly would it have been so hard for Thom to get off his high horse for two minutes?

Isn't she like 16 by now? I would agree anything under mid twenties could possibly have a lot of growing up to do, but it's also kind of funny someone who has pretty much everything in life is whining about things not going her way.
But I'm probably just bitter because prepackaged pop music drives me up a wall. Still, that's why you don't LET artists like that hang out with Radiohead. They could contaminate them!

I honestly found the radio pesonalities more annoying, it is sickening how much they suck up to the celebrities. Just pumping tiresl left and right.
"MMmmm yes, let me taste your tears Scott, Mmmm yes they taste delicious."

I agree, best South Park ever.

I guess I'll play devils advocate a bit here. I find several members of this story annoying. My main question here is why criticize chris martin for hanging out with her? He's just meeting a fan, and I'm sure many of his fans are equally annoying. I see nothing wrong with him making time to meet somebody.
Perhaps radiohead had stuff going on at the time, but something about this situation has them coming off a wee bit pretentious to me. Sure I don't know the whole story so perhaps I'm being unfair, but taking two minutes to say "hi" to somebody just doesn't seem like a big deal.

I somehow doubt that Miley is as big a 'fan' as she claims to be.
All the more reason to like Radiohead if you ask me.

PS Can anyone actually see Thom's response? I find that website very difficult to navigate...
