Love this.
...............although Ferguson actually felt United were the better team.''It is a hard one to take because I felt we were the better team,'' he said. ''That is not reflected in the scoreline and quite rightly, when you win 4-1 you get all the plaudits. I can't deny that.''

Fergie's finally lost it. They got their asses stomped by the Rampaging Reds. Deal with it. I want to record this game, absolutely fantastic. Torres and Gerrard make the vaunted United defence look like a bunch of amateur chumps.

It was a plain and simple ass-whupping. I can't wait until the repeat. It's worth watching again for sure.

Definately what I was not expecting I was just glad to see Arsenal win today and move into 4th. That is now Arsenal's goal.
With Liverpools' win they are back in the race for first allthough its still tough to catch Man U.

What a game! Funny, when Ronaldo scored the penalty, I wasn't worried in the slightest. I thought, Man U was up 1-0 last time too. Then we came back with a vengence! Nice goals by Torres and Aurrillio (what a free kick!) and Gerrard nails his pen. Man U definitely had more chances, but Liverpool took advantage of their chances. I loved seeing Fergies face after the third went in. haha
Lucas actually played a pretty solid game. our midfield as a whole did. WHere was Alonso? I heard them mention something but missed the first 2 mins so wasn't sure what they said.
Great game, as was mentioned before, a double against Man U and Chelsea makes this year a success. If Torres and Stevie were healthy all year, things might have been different. I still haven't written them off, but I'm focusing more on the CL.

Rafael Benitez signs new 5 year deal. A bit of mixed opinion on this guy over the course of the year (although not from me, except for a few times when he put Lucas on the field...) But I think this should make the majority of Liverpool fans happy. With Rick Parry leaving at the end of this year, and this contract being signed, it seems that Rafa was given the power he wanted. In the course of just over a week, 2 huge wins, and Rafa's staying...nothing but great news coming out of this team lately. Hopefully they keep it up against Villa on the weekend, and through to the end of the year.

Well that couldn't have worked out any better could it?
Fulham 2 Mancs 0 with Rooney and Scholes sent off!
Spurs 1 Chelski 0
The Reds HAVE to take advantage against Villa.
Come on you redmen!!!!!!

Damned rights. They can do this, close the gap.
The game report is hilarious:
Quote:
Ronaldo was becoming more and more frustrated at Phil Dowd's reluctance to award a free-kick every time the Portugal international was tackled.
The United winger was so incensed that he produced a two-footed lunge at Murphy which was only punished by a yellow card because he did not connect with the Fulham midfielder.

Sounds like somebody lost his panties.

This is like Christmas in March! Liverpool have to beat Villa in the my apartment derby (my brother is an Aston Villa fan). On the rocks, 10am. I am starting to get extremely excited right about now.

3-0 at the half!
Reina had to make a couple of really good saves but Liverpool should probably have 5 by now.
Keep it up Reds!

Excellent 5-0 dismantling of Villa. Liverpool look invincible right now. The only downside is Villa will be without their goalkeeper for Man United in 2 weeks, but the Mancs will be without Vidic, Rooney, and Scholes. Keep it going. The Mancs haven't got it sewn up just yet, and I figure that Rafa probably slipped O'Neill a piece of paper with more strategy on how to beat their opponents.
Locke, cool to see you finally show up to OTR. Even though you're in Red Deer, you gotta try and make it down one day Jagger.
