Just wondering where you guys get your beans? Im looking for some decent beans for espresso and I don't really know where sells stuff that is decently fresh.

Does Calgary have a 49th parallel?
I finally tried them the other day here in Van, and the coffee was great. Expensive, but delicious.
JJ Bean is also very good but again, not sure if they're in Calgary yet.

I'm going to Hawaii tomorrow. Do you want me to pick you up some?

Starbucks, Second Cup. Most supermarkets have a coffee bean selection, but I'd imagine the fresher beans are to be had at the coffee shops

Get Intelligentsia Black Cat beans.

After you do so, I expect this post to be thanked.

When we lived in Calgary, we always bought our beans from Custom Gourmet Coffee Roasters. Roasted on site. Just a block or so from Sisson's casino. Kauai blend.....great coffee. Nothing else like it (except for the real stuff from Hawaii) until we found our new roaster in Coombs

You can get both 49th parallel and JJ Bean at Bumpy's. I quite like both beans!

I also recommend Fratello Coffee Roasters, at 4021 - 9 Street S.E. Very good!

We buy only Lavazza from Lina's. You can get it other places and sometimes for cheaper but I like going there anyways.

We buy either the Oro or Rossa. Way better than Starbucks.

Where the "Columbian Roast" is laced with real "Columbian"...(only Vancouver Island pot smokers may get this reference...)
