All I know is it worked for my cousin. Maybe she was a cat whisperer or something, but she had her cats trained to use the crapper. She could also vacuum her cats, which is something I have done to cats as well. Not all cats will let you vacuum them, but I've had two that will. They seem to like the sensation ... or maybe they're just lazy and figure it saves them the effort of grooming. One cat we had would come and lay down in front of the vacuum whenever it was being used and wait to be vacuumed. I figure if you can get a cat to like being vacuumed it can't be that hard to teach them to use the crapper.

I beleive the Bobcat is classified under the Lynx family. Speaking of a Lynx I once saw one take down a big whitetale buck, quite an amazing site seeing a 35 pound cat tear at the throat of a 200lb deer.

Just wondering, do you feel the same way about other pet breeders? Is it that they charge $1500.00 per?
How about the breeders of this cat...$25,000.00 a pop

I've always thought it'd be really cool to have a tiger or a snow leopard as a house pet.
Burglars crap themselves when they see a big dog, imagine what someone would think if they broke into a house and there was a snow leopard laying out on the couch.

Yes I do.
If they are a wild species, I'm against it.

When I was a little girl, I accidentally piddled on a bobcat. Never mind exactly how it happened (evidently, both me and the bobcat thought we'd both found a good place hide) but if small, frock-wearing little girls can pee on these creatures and live to tell the tale - they're not a big a threat. Seriously, they weigh what 5 kilos - 10 at the outside?

Sorry guys, when the price of fuel went through the roof last year I decided the only way to make Winter transportation affordable was to assemble a dogsled.
Training dogs was expensive, so I just leashed together a bunch of Bobcats with some catnip at the end of a fishing rod and hoped for the best
One of the Bobcats escaped, if you see her, please dont be afraid, shes very friendly and only rarely eats pets, shes very kind and affectionate and she answers to 'Mauley."

You do realize that every domestic dog or cat once came from a wild animal right?
The picture of the large cat I posted is of the most expensive domestic cat on the planet,(Ashera) but it is derived from 3 cats, 2 are totally wild (a Serval and a Leopard) and a domestic (most say from a Savannah with Seal Siamese) This cat is as smart and docsile as a golden lab, great with kids and lives 20 years. Perfect pet.(although expensive)
Are you saying this cat shouldn't be a pet? or that people shouldn't make money breeding them? I'm also told a Lynx/Bobcat has no wildness in it when breed out of the wild and make great pets..very gentle etc.
BTW, I'm on a 2 year waiting list to get a Hypoallergenic version of the Ashera and I think it'll be worth every penny.

When i was about 11 or so (20 years ago) I was near a camp ground in La Verendrye park in Quebec, jogging, and came across a bobcat. He looked at me, I looked at him and we both ran off in opposite directions, my dad still teases me till this day.
I think they are more afraid of you than you are of it, and they are pretty small. But for a kid it's definitely frightening.

Just curious, but why do you want this animal?
If the main selling points are similar intelligence and disposition to a golden lab, why not just get a golden lab?
Now granted, it doesn't carry the cachet of "the most expensive domestic cat on the planet", but a Lab makes for a great pet.
I'd never heard of an ashera, but a google search tells me that it is related to a leopard cat, which is rather different from a " leopard".
