Default Taskbar Icons

I'm a bit computer challenged sometimes, but I cant figure out if there's a way to move the icons in the taskbar without having to close programs down and restart them in the order I want (eg. Outlook always far left by the startup icon)??

Why would you want to?

I can't think of a way to do it without closing the programs except to use something in place of the taskbar such as RocketDock

I think he means in the actual task bar, showing which programs are currently running.

As far as I know, with both XP and Vista you cannot re-order the tabs - because that would be what people would want and god forbid they do that.

Yeah, I'm talking the actual taskbar. The quick launch is easy.

Just to add to this.

Rocket dock is compatible with Vista 64bit. Even though the website says otherwise. One of the greatest things I have ever gleaned off CP since that one night of hookers and blow
