Found out that my previous assumption is wrong about the points thing; if you leave a match part way through you get points, but they don't get displayed. When I logged in last night I was a rank higher than I was previously (I had left a match with 3 points to go).

Yeah, don't bother doing the precise aiming unless you are relatively far away. You will get far more headshots if you aim for the neck and hope luck is on your side.

OK Russ, I've sent you an invite and a request to RedMile34 to be my buddy so I can add him.

Me and Kerplunk played a crazy game, there were just tons of grenades and people spawning all over the map. It was total chaos.

One thing that is driving me nuts is the inability (it seems) to switch sides during the game, meaning that if you get separated from your friends there is no way to correct it. Pretty irritating if you ask me.

The party system in this game blows...because there is none. Definitely needs to be patched in. I'm already in a clan but I'll probably make a new name so I can play with you guys also.

The lack of any way to get multiple people into the same game on the same side is terrible. Kerplunk and I spent what...15 minutes trying to find a server that we could both play on. Either the server was full or it couldn't accommodate one or the other person's rank. They really need to set up some way to make this better.

If you don't want to make a new name just make sure that everyone has your PSN ID. I doubt this clan will be doing matches any time soon anyway, although they seem to be the only way to reliably get people in the same match...

That's unfortunate, but hopefully we can get a big enough clan going that it won't be a big problem. Can a clan enter a normal match or does it have to be against other clans?

Thanks for adding us, we'll fight (and surely die) for CP tomorrow.

From everything that I've experienced clans can only truly join with other members during clan on clan action. Single matches you have to join a game and hope for the best. I think in a lot of cases it'd be best to try and just set up a match without the faction balancing and get everyone on the same side, but this can cause everyone to join one side or the other.

Really the way they need to fix this (other than a party system) is to just allow people to wait until they can join a particular side. If faction balancing is turned on and I want to play with my brother or someone else I know I have no problem waiting for a spot to open up. For whatever reason they have taken even that ability away from you and it is a huge mistake.

I think the server we eventually got on was forcing team balance, so they might not let people switch sides. I did switch on a different server we played on before. It would be nice if they had a party system.

Next time we need to find a server that DOESN'T have some of the higher ranking players on it. I do so much better against people in my range of suck.
