Fish in the Microwave
I am sitting here at work and i am nauseous some small minded person has decided to cook there left-over fish in the microwave..
Do people not realize the smell that this causes around an office? Or the fact that i might want to use the microwave in the next half an hour. Their are two kitchens in this place and they always seem to use the one that has the air circulation of a jail cell in the desert..
It's a crowded office so i can't pin point the idiot who did this, but for the rest of the day i am going to be a bitter a%%hole to everyone..
Does this thing happen at your guys work?
Are people insane??

I cook popcorn in one microwave and fish in the other and then mix them and return to my HR assignment.

Almost as inconsiderate as people who use wacked out font on a Forum, you dont work for Empire Vehicle Solutions do you?
On to your point, I agree when people cook stinky food for lunch. Also people who make Popcorn at work too, why don't you just rub your stinky feet in my face too. Good thing half the people I used to work with didn't shower, it covered up stinky food smell.
Ugh.

25% of the people in our office are asian and they cook a lot of fish. I hate it also but there is really nothing we can do about it. I am definitely guilty of cooking microwave popcorn though so I can't complain either way.
mmm popcorn. I'll be back in 2:30.

Next thing you'll be telling me that I can't reheat the curried rice and curried lamb that I had for supper last night.

The office I worked in a long time ago, banned people from making popcorn in the microwave at work (Thank God!). They felt it wasn't professional for people to walk into an office and it smelled like a movie theatre.
Reheated fish is the worst.

I bet it was a smoker that did it, those inconsiderate pricks with their extended breaks.

Hey I love the smell of fresh hot popcorn... makes the office smell real warm and friendly... plus it tastes good too.
The last place I worked, the owner liked the smell of fresh popcorn so much he went out and bought one of these and put it in our lunch room...
It was real popular with everyone.

Not office related, but one summer I took the Greyhound from Calgary to Vancouver and at one of the stops I went and picked up a bucket of KFC chicken....man does that smell get around, I thought the whole bus was going to regress into total anarchy.
It was like prison except our currency was fried chicken

I have been on the receiving end of what you are talking about and I can assure you that this was fish...
Update: Memo around the office says
Due to the unexpected amount of complaints we are no longer allowed to use the main Kitchen for any seafood (foul odor) please use the kitchen located in the main games room..
Thank bloody hell..
