^^ those pics are insane. I would never have imagined.
There was a website by some biologist that talks about this and the mechanics of play and trust between animals and nature. I can't find it at the moment.
I always figured polar bears were pretty savage. I guess they have nothing to fear from the dogs, I just cant believe the dogs arent afraid of them. That would be quite a sight to see.
Obviously it wouldn't be politically correct, but I don't understand why we have to put our lives at risk camping/hiking in the mountains with these animals lurking around. I think people are genuinely afraid of them (I am, anyway) and if you're not you probably should be.
I'm pretty sure that their populations are small enough that it wouldn't have that big of an impact on the ecosystem if we "took care of them."
Anyway, I'm sure my opinion on this won't be popular, but I would be much happier and we would all be safer if we just killed every last bear.
I would expect something this stupid from an Oiler fan, but from a Flames fan? I hope your joking.
Bears playing with dogs, it's a sign of the Apocalypse!
That's one of those things that the only appropriate response is "Huh."
I once saw a couple of mule deer chasing cows. It was hilarious. The cows were very annoyed.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm not a hockey fan at all. I actually look forward to the end of the season so my friends will shut up about it. lol

Then why post in a hockey forum?

Check out my post count. I've been here over a year and I've never once ventured anywhere other than off topic. Hockey rarely comes up here save for fleeting references. I like the local flavour of most of the topics at CP, that's all.

I got to give DESS props, He (she?) takes quite a whipping here on CP, but is still here. Although I don't agree with anything you say, you do add much flavour to the CP community

It may be a sign of a personality disorder rather than something to be in awe of...

Polar Bears and Dogs have a strange relationship. On several occasions, humans with huskies have chanced upon wild Polar bears and they seem to run up to each other and play like humans play with their pets. No hostility at all. Just natural instincts of intelligence and trust perhaps built up by evolution.
Grizzlies don't like dogs. We are reluctant to bring dogs in the bush.
