Even Larry Mandt doesn't think that's funny.

I can't remember where I saw it but there was a spoof of BTTF II describing something. It was the part in doc's shop where he's drawing the timeline and explaining what happened... I'm sure it was on this site. Anyone know who posted it and where it is?

That's probably the one about how Spiderman 3 sucked so bad that it caused an alternate timeline where both Spiderman 1 and 2 also sucked.

I thought it would give the astonishing 25% of CP who recognize Batleths or whatever a chuckle.

Yeah, but I mean that 25% would recognize that Delorean flies through the saucer section of the NCC-1701-A and then the one that blows up is the NCC-1701 refit. Totally ruined the clip for me.

God I'm a nerd.

I'm so sorry, was Star Trek VI ruined for you too when you realized that the torpedo hit in the middle of the saucer section where there were no portholes and somehow the dining room exploded? Even worse, that the dining room was obviously the NCC-1701-D observation lounge?

Not as bad as when I saw Star Trek V, and the corridors of the Enterprise A looked like the corridors of the Enterprise D.

You just weren't old enough to realize that the corridors of the Enterprise D were just repainted from the Enterprise Refit sets from 1978.

Man, I really wasted my junior high youth. Luckily, I was over Trek by grade 9

Yeah, I got over Star Trek for a while too. But over the last few years, I've fallen back in love. Must have something to do with age. I fell out of love because it wasn't 'cool' then I stopped caring about 'cool'.

Edit: On another note my nerdyness is not just Star Trek. As really the vid is the alternate beginning to Back to the Future II as at the end of the first film Elizabeth Shue hadn't replaced the orginal Jennifer.

I'm a total TNG degenerate. If it's on TV, I will watch it. Unless it's an episode that focuses on Troi or either Crusher. A good Picard or Worf episode is reason to be late for pretty much anything. Unless it's Picard trying to mack. Picard needs to leave Riker to do the macking.
I think my favorite episode is the one where Worf kills Duras. Friggin awesome. Just f'n kills him. Dead. Love it.

+1

The more time goes on the more useless I realize Troi was.

I feel out of love with the Treks after taking parental leave in 2006. Space Network was showing the last season of DS9, which was fantastic until the last 3 or 4 episodes. I made the point of treating the last week's worth of episodes like hockey games. I had snacks ready, drinks ready, no one was allowed to bug me in the TV room. I was ready to go, everything was set. Except the episodes. They were terrible. Lazy and gutless. I can't watch any Star Trek without thinking about how they betrayed me.

At least you never tried to get into Enterprise. I tried so hard to like that show. Then gave up, I read it got better after I have up but it was to late.

For there is but ONE TNG. DS9, Voyager, Enterprise... Nay. I can handle the odd OS episode, but my Trekkieism is certainly contained to TNG. I think they tried to squeeze a little too much juice from the Star Trek orange.

DS9 is greater then TNG as much as I like TNG. It was as much out of the "Roddenberry Box" as Star Trek could be at the time.
