I will only acknowledge a half Lent as I am going to Hawaii on the 20th and I'll be damned if I do not enjoy alcohol on the Islands. To make up for it I will double the sacraments in half the time. I'll give up fast food and drinking beer, not because I am a devout Catholic, but rather I am a devout fat ass and better lose 15 lbs by the 20th.
(If somebody was to invite me out for chicken wings, they are NOT considered fast food right, and Coors Light isn't really beer is it?)

to celebrate ash wednesday i went to the subway here on campus and ordered a footlong meatball sub! that'll stick to jesus alright! actually, i forgot it was ash wednesday until everyone else in line was getting cheese pizzas and veggie subs... then the lady said it was the first meatball sub shes made all day and it all clicked!
