Oh man....I was really hoping to beat the Ducks tonight. Oh well...it was close and hopefully with some new fund defence we can tighten it up a bit and get into the playoffs.

Crap, looks like when the Kings dress an actual roster they can win a game
After whooping them the previous night, they storm out to a 5-0 lead before we put the puck in the net.

Thanks to 4 first period goals the Oilers are able to knock of the Dirty BJ's and my former team be a count of 4-1. Stephen Weiss continues to shine despite being at less than peak fitness as he posts 1 goal and 1 assist in 7 minute of play. Roberto Loungo wins his 9th straight game stopping 25 of 26 shots. Teppo Numminen continues to enjoy a renaissance in greaseville as well as he posts two more assists to give him 10 in 6 games. Tommorrow another fricken game against the Wild...do these ever end?

Sharks were down 3-0 going into the 2nd but had it tied up just over 3 minutes into the period off two goals from Doan and one from Kozlov. Hossa sealed the deal with two more to finish the job.
Now 9 points up on 2nd place in the league and 3 pts away from the century mark. Playing the Flames next, so given we should win, we probably won't.

And overtime loss which is lame but the team played pretty well. Difference was goaltending it would seem.

Wow, colour me surprised. Started Denis since Kipper has been playing a ton over the last month and got tired after a game last week that wasn't a back-to-back and surprise, surprise Denis wins a game.
Cole has really been heating up of late scoring once and adding an assist while Kopecky notched two of his own.

Well that was a massive win against a rival battling for a playoff spot. Don't know how the team did it but Holik scores the GWG in the 3rd period to propel the Ducks to a 3-2 win. Knuble got injured but is only day to day so we'll only miss him for a couple games here.

Wow! Now on a 5-game winning streak, the Devils are in 8th in the conference ... what a run. I kind of thought this would be the game that ended it.

Not Bryzgalov's best night as he allows 5 goals on 16 shots. The first line of Getzlaf, Nash and Malkin continue to perform well but unfortunately we were just outplayed by a solid Lightning squad.

3rd period collapse ends the Thrashers 13 game unbeaten streak. A 4-1 lead halfway through the 3rd and then the Thrashers fall apart to lose 5-4 to the Canucks. A pretty pathetic performance in the 3rd. Thrashers get a day off.

Leafs beat B's 3-1.
Pretty even game. Leafs dominated the 1st, B's dominated the 2nd. We made more out of our chances and we able to build a 3-0 lead during the 3rd period and hung on from there. Lundqvist was sharp again. Day off before facing Tampa.
