Default Best Place to get Cheap Air Fairs

Im looking to go to London in April and Im wondering what websites everyone uses for finding flights, I have looked at Expedia, Travelocity, Escapes, SellOffVacations and all flights seem to be pricey. Does anyone know where I could find seat sales or even a travel agent that could help me out.
Thanks Guys

There's a new site I saw on the news this morning, fly.com, they had some great deals on coast to coast flights. I didn't check them for international flights but its worth a try.

I've used www.cheaptickets.com in the past. Good deals, no issues.

I have used expedia and orbitz. I have always found those to be the cheapest sites.

Not sure if easyJet or ryanair.com fly from N.America to Europe yet, but I know they were supposed to start this year. Other than that Airtransit got me there for $500. You can always go to a flightcenter as well, my dad found tickets to Europe for like $600 return, it was frankfurt, not London, but both are cheap to fly to.

Sign up for TravelZoo, they send you updates on deals.

There should be some great deals to London.

I tried some of the advertized cheap ticket sites, I found that going directly with the Airline is normally the cheapest.

For Calgary you are looking at the following options to London.

Direct: Air Canada, British Airways, Air Transat.
Connecting: Lufthansa, KLM, Air France, NWA, etc.

Also might be worth a look to see what the fares out of New York area as Air Canada, Westjet and Continental all fly direct from Calgary to the New York area.

Not wanting to start a new thread, but what is a good site to find hotel deals (particularly US hotels)?

i use www.skyscanner.net it gives you a list of a bunch of airlines and then sorts by price. it is applicable to pretty much any airport so it is nice in that regard. i suppose the only problem with it is prices are listed in GBP, but its not really a problem because for buying you are directed to the airlines site.

check aircanada.com as well. Two weeks ago I booked 2 flights to London in July for 800 bucks each (taxes in) which is ridiculously cheap for that time of year, I would imagine flying in April would be cheaper.

As for the new question... try www.tripadvisor.com I find the reviews are extremely helpful on that sight.

There is a Drop-down list in the top right corner of that website that allows you to change the currency displayed.

flightcenter is probably about the best I've seen. They start charters to the UK in the spring which is when you get the really good deals. They book a charter and then sell the unused seats publicly.

www.bookingbuddy.com is an awesome, awesome site. You can input your departure and destination cities as well as the dates, and then search many different sites at the same time (i.e. without having to enter the information separately for each of those sties)

It's great.
