Default World Baseball Classic- A Roid and Calgary

I just saw this ad on espn here in New York. Thought it was interesting that they have A-Roid promoting that he played for the Calgary Cannons. Thoughts?

Does 2 weeks or whatever it was really count ?

I saw him play a few times then - from what I remember, you could tell he was going to be good. Head and shoulders already at that age.

But with the whole drug thing....

I don't think he was using drugs as a Cannon!

I don't believe him. The A-Rod that played here looked like he was 120 lbs, soaking wet. Great tallent, wasn't afraid to get dirty for a play. This other A-Rod is a monster, who is 3 times the size of the kid that played in Calgary. There's no way it's the same person.

/I know it is... I'm just saying.

He's playing for the Dominican? WTF?

I know, how can he play for the Dominican when he played for the US last time. Aren't there any FIFA rules here?

Doesn't matter anyways, Japan will win again

It's too bad the Cannons affiliation ended with Seattle after the '94 season or we would have had another season with A-Rod in '95.
