I'm at an accounting firm - I audit oil&gas (and o&g services) companies. That's my connection I guess.

I would definately advise the landman route. [/b][/quote]
You guys have any experience with the landman course at SAIT? Is it worth taking for prospective Land managers?
I work sales and purchasing for an import/export steel company. Meaning I buy stuff from Asia and sell it in North/South America. We used to stay away from the oil and gas industry.....to many up and down cycles. Unill now of course.

Taking the landman route would most likely result in an awesome job, with good pay and plenty of opportunity to advance.
I'm just kind of leary about getting stuck travelling to buttfark Alberta all the time to have to talk to the Weebo Ludwigs of the world.
