Phew...Liverpool vs Manchester City will be on the score sunday morning. I'll be in dumpsville sleeping off what should be a Flames win, and I'm glad I'll be able to just watch it in my hotel room peacefully...although if I wake up early enough, I'll make the trek down to some pub up there.

I've got Sunday off, what time is it on the score? This could be sweet!

Every game has huge implications now, with Man U up on us. Its all hands on deck, must WIN!

EDIT: Hmmm....10am....The Rock?

Yep, I know captain fantastic's gonna miss this one. no good. As far as OTR, I'll be in Edmonton overnight, so I'll have to miss it. Great crew though, so I recommend going anyways.

Unfortunately, I think the title race is over. With ManU winning today, the gap is 8points which I think is too great against a strong United side.

Here's hoping for a second place finish and a Champions League win!

Too many goddamn DRAWS! That pretty much seals the deal on the Premiership....I hate Man U.

I wish I were as confident as you guys are demoralized. I am confident but I wont be close to certain until the end of the game on March 14.

March 14 is the key. You win that and it's only a four point lead with ten games remaining (assuming things stay the same the next couple weeks).

Why don't we have an EPL thread?

Instead I have to come and whine in the *shudder* Liverpool thread....bloody Reds.

united: My team isn't even in the hunt for first anymore, all Arsenal can hope for is to take Villa out of the top 4. Doesn't look likely.

Because I get sick of hearing about the drama queens that are Man U/Chelsea/Arsenal so I started a Liverpool thread.

Have fun in the Uefa cup next season. Thats embarrassing for a big 4 EPL club.

Gah. . I knew it was a bad omen when the score was broken in my Edmonton hotel room. That was...awful news. Definitely sick of hearing the other fans too. I think there are enough Reds fans here to warrant our own thread, although maybe a general thread wouldn't be a terrible idea.

The Wizard comes through for the Reds!! A 1-0 lead going into Anfield with an away goal. A 0-0 draw can win this (although I hope that won't be the goal, because that is no way to play against Real Madrid). The 2 best Spanish goalkeepers, maybe even the 2 best in the world going head to head, and it was some excellent stuff (not everyone would've saved that Alonso special from 100 yards away).

Bad news though, Torres subbed off early, appeared to be slow since a tackle only minutes earlier. Hopefully it's nothing serious. He appeared to have been hit right where the foot meets the ankle, so it's likely not his hamstring again, so I hope it's nothing serious.

To make this a good news sandwich, Gerrard was subbed on as well, and didn't appear to be labouring. Hardly an ass-kicking, butin terrific position going into the second leg. All of the English teams but Manchester United going into the 2nd leg with a lead.

Hopefully he's rested for a few games including Tuesday's against Sunderland!! Then maybe we can squeak out another 0-0'er like at Arsenal last Saturday..

Torres will be out for at least this weekend's game. . As far as 0-0s, we want none of that! With Torres out, it will have to be the Wizard, and Eggnog....and of course Captain Fantastic!

Anyone waking up for the 8am kick-off? I'll be there barring a severe alarm-clock malfunction.

Well losing 2-0 to Middlesbrough, that's pretty embarassing.. my favourite quote by the announcer on Setanta: "4 minutes of added time, but the way Liverpool have been playing even with 400 minutes they wouldn't score"
