Anyone playing in decent Summer Leagues this season?

Im looking for a team as my mens team will be taking the summer off this year.

Also, anyone know if Airdrie has some mens teams in any leagues? Im having troubles finding info on the teams if there are any.

This is a good thread. If anyone knows of any openings in leagues for guys who were never a threat to make junior, please post info. Interested in Summer and next Fall. Thanks in advance.

The Alberta Summer Hockey League is currently registering teams, and I know that there are a lot of teams looking for players to fill out the rosters. Every year the league puts players on the website that are looking for teams, with their contact info. My advice would be to contact the league, and they can hook you up with a team based on your skill level.

What are the dates for that league? I'll be in Calgary this summer, but not until the first week of June.

I believe most leagues start in early May.

I think there are several teams that are full of CP posters. I think we're the only 'Calgary Puckers' board team (although I think we've been disowned), and unfortunately, we're capped for players already.

You could always start a Calgary Puckers 2. Maybe a more sober team that fights less?

my team was supposedly the first to get our summer deposit in for NCHL
talking to the main GM it sounds like were looking to move down a couple divisions, and if we get bumped up, we get bumped up.
Though really we are losing a bunch of our top players for summer. If anyone is interested, it does sound like we will have a couple of openings for the summer
