I think those two hoaxers have opened themselves up to a civil suit by both the hoaxee and the wife of the hoaxee. The only thing that may prevent them from losing everything is that they don't live in the states.
You know they'd get the hell sued out of them if they lived in the states. Facebook too, probably.
Also, based on the case of Megan Meier breaking the 'terms of agreement' on a website can be a jailable offense in the United States.

Yeah, fair enough. But what is the deal with the people who carried out this "hoax". I assume they are "adults" and they are messing with this guy because he cheers for another soccer team? What do they get out of it? A couple laughs at this guy's expense I guess. It's pretty pathetic.
