I had a very real dream last night that we traded Giordano to Ottawa for a 7th round pick. I had to rush to my computer this morning and check because I wasn't sure if it was a dream or if I had read it before I fell asleep.

Needless to say, I would've smashed my laptop if Darryl had done something like this.

I hate Chinook Mall and the parking mess. Furthermore Build a Bear costs way to much.

I've been at work for 3 hours and have gotten very little accomplished.

What a dream that would be, golf all year round.

Are golf memberships twice the cost in places like that?

Ya, but between beer league hockey tournaments and curling beerspiels, it's amazing there's any Canadian males left over 25 who still have a functioning liver.

Ya the drinking thing was surprising to me, even on this message board I was surprised I skate with some guys from Montreal who dont drink and skate they're over 35 amazingly serious and very in shape. And they're not really Habs fanatics they're okay

Yeah I suppose.

The golf course here that I grew up playing and working at, would cost me 3K+ per year, plus a 10G one time transfer fee. I just can't justify that.

You can get something up here for that cheap too, I am just saying that is the course I used to play and work at. Pretty much a private golf course.

I'm on a waiting list for a membership out at Nanton. It would cost me $3,500 for a share and $600 a year to play golf. That does not include cart which would be $200 extra per year.

My municipal course is very highly rated and it's very nice in that it's right on the intracoastal waterway so you can get distracted by the boats etc. We have private courses that start at like $1000 that are beautiful, with lovely clubhouses etc but you have to be a resident. You can also get summer only memberships at the very exclusive clubs in Boca and Palm Bch. on the cheap because here that is the slow time.
