Comic crossover/alliance?
Faction/team?
I like the idea of movie adaptation, but have there really been all that many comic book movies? I mean, enough for everyone in a draft to select one?

I might be game for this. I'm not overly versed in the comic world, but I may be able to hold my own.

I don't know about having teams. Is there enough superhero teams for potentially 20 drafters? I like your list for the most part but would probably drop Toy maybe Significant Other (not sure how many there are that arent other heroes) and I dont know what TPB is. I'd like to have less than 20 categories....around 15 would be best I think because these drafts seem to lull near the end

TPB is trade paper back - this overlaps somewhat with story arc, so could be redundant.
I think there are enough teams, but the casual reader may not know enough.

Every draft that is ever done is way too long and people lose interest around round 12... So I suggest people stop making the drafts soooooo long and be more realistic and pick fewer catagories

I think those are a solid 12 categories!
And Flamesguy_SJ, that's a relevant question, but trust me, there are plenty of movie adaptations, I can think of over 20 without trying too hard, so, no worries there.

What about the franchises that have multiple movies?

I'd vote that each movie could be drafted, not the franchises.
Using Batman as probably the most extreme example, there's such a huge variation in all the ones that have been made that simply picking 'Batman' would make judging and such hard, I would imagine.

neat idea, would definitely be interesting.
Problem is I only ever read one comic
My choice in every category would be Batman. In fairness he's that awesome he would be the best choice in every category.
Best Villan, Batman
Best Female Hero, Batman
Best Story Arc, Batman
Best Chili Cheese Dog, Batman
