"Nemisz is currently tied for 11th in the OHL Scoring Race with 62 points in 53 games player"

on pace for 80 points in 68 (which he'll likely play), a 16% improvement on last year and a very good total for a 3rd year WHLer. The spitfires have beefed up for the playoffs and Nemisz is scoring at a higher clip with the additions, he could end up an 85-90 point guy.

He plays on the top line of a powerhouse team and has been very healthy. Being a power-forward, he's still probably got another year in the Dub and at least one in the AHL. He seems like the kind of guy that could thrive in the flames system.

Just scored his 30th of the year. Kid has a nose for the net, no doubt about that.

Good article by the Windsor Star...

spits eclipse champs (Jim Parker)

After 11 goals as a rookie, Nemisz has 67 over the past two seasons and the first-round pick of the Calgary Flames picked a great time for his first hat trick with Calgary general manager Darryl Sutter taking in the game.
"For a coach, the greatest gratification is watching a guy like Nemo develop over three years," said Spitfires head coach Bob Boughner, whose team has won eight straight and 22 of its last 23 games.

That's awesome that Darryl was there. I didn't realize that.

Windsor Spitfires to add Richard Panik and Cam Fowler next season; both are draft eligible and considered 1st rounders

as if they aren't stacked already

Panik was thought to be coming over this year at the start of the season. I'll beleive it when he shows up to camp. Filatov was supposed to join Sudbury and that never happened and it took Windsor a bit before they could get Loktionov in the fold.
Same thing with Fowler. Now if they could get themselves a goalie...

Good for Fowler and the Spitfires.
My take on it is if you're a marginal talent or undersized, go the slow college route. The degree may be worth $7M over a working life.
If you're a top end talent, go where you'll progress the quickest as you'll be in line for $7M per year.

sorry for going OTopic.
