It looks like the Rug Doctors are out for a game this Sunday, but I remembered there was a member of the Roughnecks on CP, but can't remember who it was.

It's this Sunday Feb 15th, 9pm at Jack Setter Arena. We will have a ref and probably a timekeeper as well.

Why don't we just have an open call for players?

People can come out and play against the puckers, with only 1 stipulation:

Puckers are wearing red.

Or are we looking for something a little more structured?

I thought about it, but yeah I was hoping for an actual team to play against. If we can't find a team, we'll probably just play against the Saints.

if youre hard up, I could discuss with my team tomorrow (formerly Ikea, now the centaurs) if theyd be interested
I know there has been some discussion previous about trying to get some extra ice outside of our regular league games

7 or 8 so far. Jeff's back in town so him and his brother will probably come out.

what would we be looking at as a cost for using your ice time?

Well they're charging us $100 for the ice time and then whatever a ref will cost. So we may just cover it, but even if we go halfsies it would be under $10 per player.

I dont know if my team could make it but if you are desperate I can check with them

I have sent an email to our GM and he should hopefully get in contact with the rest of our team (ive been told that our team doesnt seem to respond to emails so well but we'll see what happens)
we have agame tomorrow night so at the very least i can bring it up there as well

I've got 6 yes's confirmed so far in about 15minutes. I think we can make a go of this if the Puckers are still willing to man up!! I'll see if I can hold my hockey frustrations to a minimum during shinny and not smash sticks around like usual...
