Bad example, New Yorkers aren't human either

Having a uterus shouldn't give you free reign to run around cussing and hitting someone. Some woman take this too far.

I have been hit by a lot of girls, but I deserved it so I just stood there and took it, I never hit or even pushed them back. However, if the day ever comes where my car gets surrounded by a mob and then I start getting verbally and physically assaulted, male or female I am going to hit whoever is closest to me.

Wow, talk about a dumb situation. I think all parties are to blame but I would say most are being rather harsh on Jericho.

I used to be one of those avid WWE fans a few years back, enjoyed it for the spectacle it was and to follow the real life behind the scenes drama involved. Stuff like who was on the outs with McMahon and how their career was getting messed up as a result.

I had a chance meeting with Jericho a few years back at the hot springs at Panorama, a very nice guy and quite easy going if you don't approach him yelling and screaming at him!

I actually really dislike WWE, I think it's a horrible show and can't imagine why anyone watches it... I just wouldn't go around calling fans of it 'losers'. Takes a special sort of person to broad-stroke people like that, I find it distasteful.

She grabbed at Jericho while he had his back turned. That warrants a punch. Male or female.

Reminds me of the CPS vs Riders fans where one of the fans grabbed an officer from behind and the officer tackled him down 3 rows.

Don't grab someone from behind in a crowd. Period.

I love it when wrestling fans get defensive. I find it very entertaining.

And here I thought the other thread, the one about Chris Brown reportedly beating up Rihanna would have more chatter, as it was a form of domestic abuse.

And like any wrestling thread on CP, I find that people who watch wrestling have to defend themselves as if it was an STD, and they got it from some hooker with bad blow.

^^We just get tired of being made fun of or looked down upon because we're entertained by wrestling and actually enjoy it. Having to constantly defend something you really enjoy and have a lot of fun with can wear you down.

Most people get insulted when you call them a loser for liking something. Its no different then you going off when oiler fan calls you a loser for liking the flames.

I grew up around wrestling, in fact my grandpa was really good friends with the Harts and i spent alot of time there when i was younger. As a result i've met a lot of wrestlers including Jericho and enjoying watching them work and make no apologies for it. You look like such a tool calling people a loser for liking wrestling.

I personally don't see the appeal at all, would you watch a Flames game if you knew before hand Sutter and another GM got together to decide how hings were played out?

It's fake, watching WWE is like watching soap operas on steroids.

What TV shows do you like? The Office? Lost? How about favorite movie? You realize those are all fake too right? weird.

It takes a ton of talent to do what these guys do for a living and that to me makes it enjoyable to watch.

Alright I admit, I was a huge fan of the WWF video games. Nothing is more fun than controlling a guy in a banana thong pretending to beat up other guys.

I don't think WWE fans are losers, I think the people who think the WWE is real are losers, ie. ones who take it way to serious. I used to watch wrestling years ago, but quit after all my favorites left or retired (Stone Cold, The Rock, back when Kurt had hair, etc.) The new story lines suck, and all the new wrestlers suck (IMO).

As for this incident. I agree with the people who are saying Jericho isn't to blame (not entirely at least). I like the part of the video where the girl is like "OMG he hit a girl"; he only pushed one, and as mentioned she grabbed him from behind, it is her own fault.

Edit: Oh and WWE video games are some of the funnest around. WWE Raw vs Smackdown 2007 is awesome fun when playing with friends.

*cough* white trash *cough* wwe fans. I agree though, uterus doesn't mean you can say and do whatever you want. She deserved the light push or punch or whatever it was.

Whatever, I'm not going to get caught up in a pissing match about wrestling; I enjoy it, it's entertaining, and I have a great amount of respect for those who do it.

As for the topic at hand, it's good to see the WWE standing behind Jericho. Can't really blame him for what he did based on the videos and other information available. Should be interesting to see how this all plays out though, both outside the ring and within.

Its not fake, its scripted. In fact, I will go so far to say its a lot more "real" than movies and tv shows, in that its happening in real time. So by your analogy, I guess you don't like going to concerts or plays either then I'm assuming? Why would you want to go when you already know what's going to happen?
