Yeah that's it, except for the not trusting part. She doesn't even party there because she's too busy with school, so busy that she often doesn't even sleep during the week, I'm serious. She has always been this way, she's a "try hard" in school, and it occupies every minute of her life. This is another reason why I'm breaking up with her, because even if I moved there she still wouldn't have time for a relationship.

Also, I feel guilty taking any of her time because I know it's only making her fall further behind. A break-up would benefit both of us.

Commerce. It shouldn't be so time consuming, but like I said that's just the way she is. She can turn a 1-hour assignment into a 2-day project.

Just dump her now. She won't do well in the business world if she dilly dallies with everything. Best do it now before you have to console her when she gets fired for lack of productivity.

I've always thought about that. In the real world things have to be done well, and fast, so she will probably have some struggles making the transition.

Its true. That why people who half ass everything and cheat in school excel in the real world. You get these painstakers who take 10 times longer than required holding everyone up.

I wonder how many chickens there are in the world. Personally, I probably put down about 2 dozen chicken wings a month just in the pub, multiplied by 12 months is 24 dozen wings, which is 12 dozen chickens.
1 Fonz = 144 chickens/year
That's not even including what I eat for supper, and I eat a buttload of chicken. How hasn't the world run dry of chickens?

Anyone who wears fleece better be older than 75 years of age.
Oh, I also have a way you can send letters for FREE! Here's what you do: put YOUR address in the middle of the envelope and the person you want to send the letter to as the return address, don't stamp it. The post office will look at the envelope, see that there's no postage, and send it back to the return address! You can thank me now.

So if I am sending a letter to Eastern Girl, I put my Calgary address in the middle, and her Ottawa address in the return address location and put it into my mailbox in Calgary. The mail then goes by a truck to the postal sorting station where the guy looks at the mail and says," I guess this letter in this batch from the truck that did southeast Calgary had a letter from Ottawa in it, lets return it to Ottawa without looking to at the intended address.
God help the person who doesn't immediately see what is happening, because they will have a hard time when that Nigerian Prince with millions to burn emails them with an offer of a lifetime...

What's wrong with wearing fleece? I have a pair of black fleece pants that are great. Mind you the only time I wear them out of the house is if I'm shoveling snow or going to the gym.

There's only one way to find out right? And if it doesn't work, try sending a letter locally. I don't see why that wouldn't work.

I guess of the two, I chose alcohol, not suicide.
Anyways, thats enough of that. Interesting way of looking at things, I'm no neuropsychologist though.

I am in Geog 205 at the U of C. I get a whole lot of requests for notes, which I promptly delete. I am 24 it being a first year class has a lot of yougens in it and they often skip and then ask for notes.
I opened up webmail to find this gem today:
Quote:
Thank you Anthony and Brian. You two have said what I have been thinking in a much, much more politically correct and "less harsh" way. I am not enjoying the 20 f***ing e-mails I get a week from people asking for the notes. An end needs to be put to this f***ing spam.
If there is a student out there, kind enough to share their notes, please, upload them to the message board (where you will find a replica of this e-mail in your inbox) under the communication link. That way fellow "students" can simply go there to get the notes without spamming the rest of us.
If you are finding the notes on Blackboard not detailed enough for your learning requirements, maybe it is because the prof leaves the details for his lecture as an incentive to make you so called "students" come to class.
If you don't go to the classes, you can shove your note requests up your ass.
From a student who does not give two s***s about your missed notes,
Random Pissed Off Student (I added this, I didn't want to give out his real name)

Pretty hilarious stuff if you ask me.
And that reminds me of the guy in my Poli 4xx course who, every time he's on HF boards or CP and I even glance at his screen, slides closer to the wall and turns his laptop away from me and angles it so I can't look at what he's looking at.
If you don't want people with similar interests looking at your shiznat don't effing look at it during class. I find it especially humorous because we both wear Flames stuff on gamedays so I'm sure he knows I cheer for the Flames too. If you are on here guy don't worry I am not spying on you I just also like Flames news.

I think he might just lurk, I don't think he's ever posting. Well maybe he's so secretive I don't want to peer over his shoulder. What makes it funny is I noticed CP during the 1st class and we've sat next to each other just about every class since.
I'm not the most outspoken or friendliest guy in the world, I just find it funny because I post here quite a bit so he has nothing to hide/be ashamed of. Just hopefully he doesn't think I'm trying to spy on him or anything.
That brings up another thought. Girls who go on facebook, check out their own and their friends pictures, some of which aren't exactly PG or flattering or stuff you'd want shown in public. I actually make a point of acting nosy then. If you don't want me rating your hot ass friends in my head while blocking out the prof then don't go on facebook during class. If/when they look at me I don't care. If you are doing it in a public domain you better expect people to look at it.

The requests for notes over Blackboard this year have been insane. Maybe it is the Soci and Poli Sci classes that require you to take notes, that I am taking, but that stuff never happens in a Comp Sci class.
I had a prof one semester explain that he went into another class one day and saw a guy in one of the front rows using his laptop to surf hardcore porn without any regard for who was behind him and clearly able to see what he was doing.
Stuff that really bothers me this semester: I am in a class with this one young lady who decides to make out with her boyfriend for half the class while sitting 2 rows in front of me. Like I want to be forced to look at that crap, get a room or at the very least get the hell out of the room where 100 other people paid to sit to get taught.

I find that texting might be the worst change since I started Uni back in fall of 03. I don't even know if texting was around back then. Now people will whip out their cell phones and text away in the middle of a lecture right in front of the prof. I get pissed off just sitting in class let alone how the prof feels.
Which brings me to another thought. My D-bag friends who text while I'm around. If you're arranging tonight's plans fine. But when we're at the pub or hanging out talking and I hear your text alert and you just reach into your bag/purse/pocket pull out your cell phone and start texting in the middle of our conversation I want to punch you in the face. Especially my chick friend that does it.
If you want to answer your phone or give the occasional text just say "hold on a second" take care of your business and resume conversation. Not this bitch. She will just turn dig in her purse and start texting even if I'm right in the middle of telling her that I have cancer and will be dead in a week. Man that pisses me off. And she wonders why I won't date her...(that isn't the only reason but does piss me off a lot. no manners at all)

All I'll say without going into the confessional thread is that our friendship isn't exactly at its strongest right now and it is all her fault. I resent her a bit so my bitter attitude has some well deserved background to it. I became friends with one of her good friends (who is also a girl) and now friend a (likes me and wants to date) is jealous of friend b (just a friend but we hang out a lot). But friend b has a boyfriend and neither of us are remotely attracted to each other. (at least I don't think but she's made it pretty obvious she doesn't have a thing for me)
