Default GDT: Milwuakee Admirals @ QC Flames - 1/31/09

The Flames return home from their season long roadtrip for their third game in 3 nights. The team is traveling back from Texas tonight, so it will certainly be a tired team. Making the night even tougher, the opponent is the first place Milwuakee Admirals.

I just uploaded some pictures from the game on my site. Got a good one of some of the Admirals fans. It kinda sets the tone for how the game went.

This was the first game I'd been to in a while, and it was good to see a few thousand people there. I hadn't read the recent moving rumors, so I was thinking maybe things were turning around.

It was definitely an entertaining game to watch.

Nice pics! That sign was so classy and well done....wish we would have thought to do something like that when we went to Milwaukee with a big group a couple of weeks ago!

I will say their fans were smart.....we sat higher in Milwaukee, and they have fans running up and down the aisles all through the game. So darn distracting!!! I wish all arenas would announce and enforce a little hockey etiquette!!!

Somebody needs to tell Milwaukee (and probably the rest of the AHL) that there's no such place as "Quad City." I'm sure there are places like "Twin City Ford" in Minneapolis but nobody goes there and refers to the Twin Cities as "Twin City."
