This is way outta left field. Tillman is a huge part of the community in Regina. Very well liked and respected.
If this is true the whole of Rider nation is going to feel betrayed and pissed off. We put our faith in this guy. That being said accusations are just that, and as of now, especially with his squeaky clean image in Sask. I hope people back Tillman until further proof is handed out. Seriously though, if this is true what a disaster.

I hope people are thinking more about the girl then going out of their way to back Tillman.
If he's proven innocent Rider fans can back him all they want. But lets not victimize the guy.
The smart move for the Riders would be to put him on a leave of absense until this is sorted out.

I'm withholding judgement until any facts come out, but if the complaint was originally filed in August and the police are pressing charges now, they probably took their time and made sure that they had a good case. Even though I generally hate all things Riders, as a fan of the CFL this news really disappoints me. The league is far better when the rivalry is about what happens on the field. Hopefully it will resolve itself one way or the other quickly.

At worst he's going to jail.
At best he got involved with a near minor and put himself in a compromising position.
Even if he's cleared, I would expect a quiet resignation
